Another Sunday? If you say so. Some non-blurry things from this past week.
Celery, apple, and fennel salad. I’ve been thinking about this salad approximately every ten minutes since eating it earlier this week. It was a friend’s recipe, but minus the tarragon, Bon Appetit's comes pretty close. I’d recommend adding an avocado, though, because… Texas.
Need is a strong word, but do I need this shirt? Say yes.
If you need a little laugh, look no further than Netflix’s Lovebirds. It was an absurd and wild ride, but a welcome distraction nonetheless.
I’ve been looking more and more to insight from my gurus in these strange times. One of mine is Elizabeth Gilbert and this snippet of her interview on Russell Brand’s Under the Skin podcast was full of wise gems. “I would rather have it be done and lacking than to die on the cross of perfectionism.” I mean!
“Flowers In Your Hair” by The Lumineers has always been of my favorites by them and my heart burst when my friends used it as the soundtrack for the Prezi (AMAZING) they put together for my birthday this week. I’ve never even told anyone how much I like that song. They just KNEW. Friendship!
At last at last I have the waterproof blanket of my picnicking dreams! I’m so looking forward to the day when people can be together again and I can put this birthday gift to good use.
What’s stood out to you lately? I’d love to know.
xoxo,
Sally
