I think I’ve told myself “It’s Sunday!” a dozen times today. But you know what? We’re here. Below are some of the things getting me by the best week. I hope you’re getting by, too.
#blackAF was as educational as it was hilarious. I loved the honesty and joy of the black immerse.
I’m back to making my favorite summer salad of all time, Joy the Baker’s Tomato and Peach Salad with Buttered Bread and Pistachios, and sweet mother of mine if it isn’t still one of the best things I’ve ever tasted.
Still summer lovin’ another fave, a classic gin and tonic, in this triple digit heat.
I finally finished listening to the New York Times podcast 1619, and I found the story of black land ownership particularly fascinating in the Land of Our Fathers episode.
Is there anything more attractive about a man right now than him making the choice to wear a mask? Not right now there isn’t!
I devoured Upload on Amazon Prime this past week. DEVOURED.
Speaking of marathoning shows, are we all watching Down to Earth with Zac Efron with reckless abandon and scribbling Zac’s name all over our hearts? Or is it just everyone living in this studio (only me)?
And on that note, you’ll have to excuse me. Zac is calling.
xoxo,
Sally
