When did it get to be September and feel like fall? I haven’t a clue, but I’m here for it.
Young Wallander. Oh. OH. Fulfilling all my moody mystery needs, the young reimagining of this detective stopped me in my tracks. Was it the smolder? The jawline? The Swedish accent? The misty harbors of Sweden? Whatever it was, I want more of it. Fingers crossed that Netflix makes a second season and we’ll see more of Adam Pålsson in the world. Good. GRIEF.
I tend to save up episodes of my favorite podcasts now like the apocalypse is coming? Oh wait… We’re already in one! Catching up on this episode of The High Low was a total treat. I laughed, I gasped, it’s a good one.
Every time a new Fortunately… with Fi and Jane pops into my feed, it’s so satisfying just imagining where on earth their dazzling banter is going to take you. The latest was no exception.
My latest audiobook adventure was Nancy Springer’s The Case of the Missing Marquess, the first in the Enola Holmes series. I simply wanted to listen to it before the Netflix film comes out this coming week, but I was happily surprised to find it’s narrated by one of my favorite narrators, Katherine Kellgren.
There simply aren’t words. Rest in power, RBG.
Keep hoping. Keep fighting.
xoxo,
Sally
